The championship field was revealed in a selection show on Sunday, May 3 on krikya89.com. The tournament continues with the quarterfinals on Wednesday, May 13 and continues through the championship on Sunday, May 24 at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, VA.

The DII men's lacrosse championship is an 18-team, single elimination tournament. Champions of qualifying conferences received automatic qualification for the NCAA Division II Men’s Lacrosse Championship, and the four lowest-ranked AQ teams competed in the opening round for the final two spots in the championship bracket.
